How He Asked…

The Ceremony Details…

The Reception Details…
“Our reception was held at Castleoaks hotel, Castleconnell, Limerick. We had 130 guests for the day and evening. The food was amazing! For starters we had a choice of either Smoked Haddock Fish Cake or a Black Pudding Tart, then we had a Butternut Squash Soup. The main courses were Seabass with crispy skin served alongside Mediterranean Vegetables or Beef with a Red Wine Jus and Seasonal Vegetables. To finish, our dessert was zesty Lime and Ginger Cheesecake. Red and white wine was flowing before and during the meal.”
“The speeches were done after our meal. All was going smoothly until my bridesmaids decided to liven up the speeches by turning their speech into a rap along to The Fresh Prince of Bel Air! It was absolutely fantastic! They pulled out sunglasses and off they went – rapping about my life and how I met Dan!”
“We had a band called Panic Animal play at our wedding and I must saw they had everybody up dancing from their first song!
My Sister in Law made my wedding cake and all I can say about that is WOW! She is a very talented lady. The cake matched the colours of my wedding bouquet perfectly. Unfortunately, by the time I came home from honeymoon my mother had given the cake to any visitors, neighbours or family, so I didn’t even get to taste the cake…”

The Bride and Groom Outfits…

The Finer Details
“For my bouquet, I chose a mixture of roses and seasonal flowers. I had Ring of Roses as my florist who was amazing – So creative! I showed her what I wanted, she tweaked it slightly and the outcome was fantastic. Gorgeous colours of reds and mustards!
In terms of our decor, I bought all of my table numbers from Hobbycraft and wrapped them in twine to give them that rustic look… It took me forever, but they turned out fab!
For favours, we had a candy table and cupcakes on arrival…. we decided this would work best for our guest, as I think favours are a waste of money and time as they normally just get left behind…”
What Stands Out Most About Your Big Day

What advice would you give to other Brides / Grooms to be?
“Take 15 minutes alone with your groom before dinner! Spend it alone having a glass of champagne and savouring the moment, because the day goes by so fast…”
