We love a bit of romance here at Your Wedding Hub and seeing two childhood sweethearts tie the knot never fails to make us smile!
This real wedding story definitely has the “aww factor” it’s so sweet and swoon-worthy – read on and see for yourself.
How He Asked…
“I have known my husband since we were 5 years old. We got engaged in March 2015 at his passing out ceremony from the Army. We had some official army photos taken and Josh got down on one knee to propose in front of the entire army, as well as our mothers and families.”

The Ceremony Details
The bride and groom opted for a small intimate family wedding and invited around 60 guests.

Laura says: “The ceremony was held at Packington Moor, an intimate renovated barn conversion and was decorated in winter wonderland theme. We both love Disney – so we had a quote from the film Up.”

The Reception Details
“For our reception we had approximately 90-100 people joins us on the evening – we ate stone baked pizza and had our family friend as a DJ.”

The Wedding Party
“I asked my 3 oldest friends Emilie as Maid of Honour and Nicola and Kirsty as Bridesmaids.”

“Josh asked his oldest friends Josh B as best man, Chris, Sam and his brother Max as his groomsmen.”

The Bride and Groom Outfits…
The bride wore a gorgeous princess style dress and paired it a gorgeous veil adorned with crystals as well as some very quirky (and super comfy) shoes!
She said: “I chose a huge Ronald Joyce dress, with my comfy white converse customised with blue silk laces.”

“Josh wore a 3 piece blue suit from Next.”
The Brides Bouquet
“I first started looking on Pinterest and decided I wanted my favourite flowers gerberas, roses as well as orchids in blues and whites.”
