Charlotte Tilbury Wedding Makeup

by Caitlin

Brides to be, have you considered how you will be doing your wedding makeup?

Charlotte Tilbury has an incredible makeup range and they have even put together 3 gorgeous wedding day makeup looks with step by step videos for you to follow!

I’ve chosen my favourite of the 3, this is #GLOWMO Wedding Glow, for a gorgeous natural bridal glow! You can give it a watch below!

The Night Before

The night before your wedding always calls for a pamper night! Charlotte recommends prepping your skin using the Goddess Skin Clay Mask so your skin is left nourished, plump and cashmere-soft!

For a natural looking tan, she also recommends using the Overnight Bronze and Glow Mask with its natural tan pigments, to even out your skin tone & give off a gorgeous glow.

Extra tip: Drink plenty of water the night before to keep your skin hydrated from within!

Morning Skin Care

Always cleanse your skin to get the blood flowing and make sure there is no nasty pre-wedding nervous sweat lurking in your pores – we want to be glowing not greasy!

Now for the fun part – place on the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask and massage gently into your skin. Leave on for 15 minutes to reveal an amazing instant glow! (Don’t throw this away, you can use it 3 times!)

Now, complete your glow and prep your skin for makeup using Charlotte’s Magic Cream moisturiser, working upwards and outwards in circular motions to stimulate circulation.

Dot the Magic Eye Rescue Cream underneath and around your eye area & massage in for instantly awakened eyes!

To emphasise your glow, use Wonderglow face primer on your entire face focusing on the high points such as cheek bones!

Achieve a flawless skin tone and fresh luminous complexion by stippling on the Light Wonder Foundation, applying slightly more in areas that require more coverage, such as blemishes & redness.

To brighten up your under eyes, use The Retoucher Concealer and Mini Miracle Eye Wand, allowing you to correct any discolouration and disguise problem areas!

Set your foundation and give extra coverage by dusting the Airbrush Flawless Finish powder on your t-zone and any slightly more oily areas.

Define your brows with the Brow Lift Eyebrow pencil using small hair like strokes to mimic the natural brow hair. Fill them in using the Legendary Brows eyebrow gel to keep them in place and emphasise them.

Use the NEW Instant Look in a Palette in Beauty Glow for your eyes (If you’re going to get anything from this video, I would recommend this!). Prime with the Brighten shade all over, then blend Enhance all over the lid. Deepen your look by using the Smudger brush and blend the Smoke shade in the outer corners and on the upper and lower lash line.

Apply The Classic eyeliner in Audrey along the upper lash line and pull outwards for a soft feline flick.

Finish off your eyes with lashings of Full Fat Lashes mascara for a dreamy wide-eyed look.

Define your cheek bones using the Bronze shade in the Instant Look in a Palette in Beauty Glow, suck in your cheeks and use the Charlotte’s Powder and Sculpt brush to apply to the hollows!

Finish off your glow using the Highlight shade on your cheek bones, temples, down the centre of your nose and on your cupids bow.

Add a radiant rosy finish with the SWISH & POP shades on the apples of your cheeks and blend upwards for a natural colour flush!

Here’s where the Lip Cheat lip liner comes in handy, you can either use it to outline your natural lip line to stop lipstick bleeding, or perfect the shape of your lips by slightly over lining, this is what I do with mine!

To complete the look apply the Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk straight from the lipstick bullet, it looks so natural! Your lips but better!

Et Voila!  You’re a glowing, flawless goddess ready for your wedding – and this look would be amazing for your bridesmaids and guests too. Shop the look here.
