5 Things The Bridesmaids SHOULDN’T do!

by Kloe Forster

We understand that being asked to be a bridesmaid is one of the biggest honours of friendship possible.

But sometimes, things can go wrong!

Here’s 5 things you should never do if you’re a bridesmaid…

5. Moan to the bride

The last thing any bride needs to hear on her wedding day is any guest complaining about any aspect of the day… so, if you’re a bridesmaid and you’re not happy with the way your make up looks, or your hair isn’t as nice as you expected DO NOT moan to the bride about it!

Remember – if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all!

4. Change out of your dress

Just remember, the bride and groom have spent money on buying you a dress to wear on the day – so even if you think it’s hideous, you need to stay in it.

Taking it off early and changing into something else is highly disrespectful… so keep it on.

3. Get too drunk

We’re not saying stay completely sober… but no one wants to see a bridesmaid puking up after too many shots either! Just remember all of the Bride/Grooms family will be there on the big day – and the last thing you want to do is make a fool of yourself in front of everyone…

It’s all about getting the balance just right – so just try and stay nicely tipsy!

Drink water in between drinks if you can, we guarantee you’ll thank us in the morning…

2. Leave the wedding party early

We totally appreciate that it’s going to be a veerrrry long day – but you really can’t leave the party early!

You need to stay around to keep the party in full swing and to be there for the bride if she needs anything…

1. Turn up late

This is a bit of an obvious one – but you just can’t show up late.

Make sure you arrive to where you need to be on the big day with plenty of time to spare – the bride doesn’t need to be nice and calm where you are, she needs to stay nice and calm and you need to be there for her.

So, be a good friend and show up early!
